琥珀溫泉飯店

We are just home from a two night stay here with our toddler which was one of the most memorable breaks we have had. The hotel facilities are just fantastic. There is so much to do in it for children of all ages. Our wee man didn’t know what direction to run in next, he had so much fun. We ate dinner here both nights and the food was delicious in both the pizza restaurant and the bar and grill. Breakfast was also lovely with a great selection. I only wish we had booked to stay another night here. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that I did notice quite a lot of glass chunks on the corridor to our bedroom on the third floor which was there for the entirety of our stay, with so many little ones running around a good hoover wouldn’t have went a miss to avoid someone getting glass in their foot. We will definitely return again.

We had a family meal in the restaurant earlier this month. There were over 20 of us and they had set up tables separately for the younger members so they could chat without older relatives earwigging . Service was a little slow but as we were all catching up chatting, it was ok. Starters were lovely, mix of chicken wings, chowder, miso salmon. Mains were substantial. There was a mix of steaks, burgers, beef and chicken, pasta. We were all stuffed and only the really ambitious of the party had dessert. The staff serving us were lovely and patiently waited while we assembled for the obligatory family photo.

I'm just home from a surprise 60th birthday celebration in the Amber Springs Hotel. The hotel is fabulous,I was upgraded to a suite which was huge! We had a meal in the restaurant last night, and it was lovely. The highlight was the staff..they are just so genuinely nice! The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. There was lots of young families around enjoying themselves and there's a great atmosphere here. Breakfast was gorgeous and relaxed despite the place being busy..we plan to return for another family get together before Christmas so well done Amber Springs and see you again!!

Overall lovely experience. We stayed in an amber den suite and loved the separate section for children. Great size of room, but could do with a bigger adult bed for comfort. Lovely bathroom. The facilities for children are fantastic, and my little one loved the pizza party. The train experience was ok- I wouldn’t go back for that alone. Food was pretty good- not gourmet, but definitely tasty. It’s a tad expensive for what it is, but we would go back.

The Amber Springs is an awesome hotel, we were 2 adults 1 child and this is an amazing family friendly, packed with things to do or just relax and do nothing type of hotel. The staff and service are brilliant, place so clean, kids amenities plentiful. Totally recommend the visit!

Arrived in hotel suite and what a disappointment. As soon as we came in we noticed a foul smell of sewage throughout the hotel room which was coming from the bathroom. We showered down the drain to reduce the smell and in the morning when we woke up the smell was unbearable throughout the entire hotel room. We had been woken up multiple times during the night due to the horrific toxic smell. Furthermore the bathroom was filthy with mould, a broken toilet roll holder and broken rails for towels. Room was also dusty and dirty. Facilities in hotel were nice such as bar and breakfast however the room situation was truly horrific. We eventually got moved to another room but still the holiday was disappointing.
